Jaws

“We’re gonna need a bigger boat”
After a shot of Malort, join friends of the podcast Mitch and Katie as they witness Ian kick himself from not watching Jaws sooner. (Also, Quint ABSOLUTELY drew that shark on the chalkboard)

Ian
Ian has been fascinated with the process of making movies for as long as he can remember, so much so that he has his bachelor’s degree in Cinema Arts & Science from Columbia College Chicago. That being said, he’s managed to miss out on so many pop culture cornerstones and arthouse gems alike that he *literally* created a podcast about it. When not doing whatever it is he does on this podcast, you’ll find him being lost in a theme park somewhere, working on a tech project, or being an award winning short film editor (but please don’t ask him about it, he hates bragging about himself.) Top 5: Princess Bride, Grand Budapest Hotel, Inside Out, Kingsmen: The Secret Service, The Fifth Element

Katie
Katie is an amateur animator who was born and raised (and still lives) in the Chicagoland area. Her experience falls mainly within the realm of 2D traditional animation, but she tries to dabble in digital 3D animation from time to time. Self-expression through visual arts has always been a part of her mythos, and she comes from a family of cinemaphiles. Top Five: The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (that still only counts as one!)(2001-2003), Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002), Little Miss Sunshine (2006), Seven Samurai (1954), My Neighbor Totoro (1988) Guilty Pleasure: The Birdcage (1996)

Mitch
Mitch is a Chicago-based propmaker and set designer who has worked on everything from music videos to shoe commercials. His early love of filmmaking led him to Columbia College, where he earned a degree in Cinema Art & Sciences and found many friends and mentors who still inspire him a decade later. He once drank Corona with Kevin Bacon, so congrats: You're one degree closer. Top Five: Mysterious Island (1960), Jaws (1975), It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963), Once Upon a Time in the West (1968), The Great Escape (1963). Guilty Pleasure: National Treasure (2004)
