Host
Ian
Ian has been fascinated with the process of making movies for as long as he can remember, so much so that he has his bachelor’s degree in Cinema Arts & Science from Columbia College Chicago. That being said, he’s managed to miss out on so many pop culture cornerstones and arthouse gems alike that he *literally* created a podcast about it. When not doing whatever it is he does on this podcast, you’ll find him being lost in a theme park somewhere, working on a tech project, or being an award winning short film editor (but please don’t ask him about it, he hates bragging about himself.) Top 5: Princess Bride, Grand Budapest Hotel, Inside Out, Kingsmen: The Secret Service, The Fifth Element

Host
Meghan
Meghan is a certified film-ologist (aka she used her Art History degree as an excuse to study film for four years) and has her Masters in Creative Writing from Hamline University. When she isn’t podcasting or dissecting movies with Ian, she’s hanging out with her four pets and her partner, tending to her ever-expanding collection of indoor plants, engaging in various arts and crafts, and writing or reading anything from short stories to fanfiction to screenplays. Top 5: Jurassic Park, Princess Bride, Grand Budapest Hotel, Clueless, and The Shining

Kevin
Kevin is many things. And actor, writer, Podcaster, let's player, and general all around nerd. He has worked with both Meghan and Ian on several projects and works at the renaissance festival in the summers. When he isn't knee deep in projects and such he can be found at home with his family and 2 meatloaves disguised as French bulldogs. He has recently gotten weirdly into audiobooks. Top 5: Stranger than Fiction, literally any star wars, Sunshine, Robin Hood: Men In TIghts, Book of Eli. Ultimate guilty pleasure movie: Bio-Dome

Laurel
Laurel worked in a video store all through high school and developed an unhealthy movie obsession early on in life thanks to her extensive Disney VHS collection and parents who were obsessed with both the original Star Wars trilogy and quirky cult classics. (Yes, she is aware that all of that makes her sound ancient, thank you.) She used to host another Podcast with Ian where they discussed all things Disney films and Parks, but she now contents herself with horning in on his new project. When not talking about movies you can find her serving as a City Council Member, planning yet another vacation to Disney, or hanging out with her Husband Mike, two dogs (Merlin & Athur), and cat (Gorgi). Top 5: Serenity (2005), Alice in Wonderland (1951), The Old Guard (2020), Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (1980), Any Muppet Movie.

Mitch
Mitch is a Chicago-based propmaker and set designer who has worked on everything from music videos to shoe commercials. His early love of filmmaking led him to Columbia College, where he earned a degree in Cinema Art & Sciences and found many friends and mentors who still inspire him a decade later. He once drank Corona with Kevin Bacon, so congrats: You're one degree closer. Top Five: Mysterious Island (1960), Jaws (1975), It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963), Once Upon a Time in the West (1968), The Great Escape (1963). Guilty Pleasure: National Treasure (2004)
